“They make the Mafia look like Save The Children,” says a spokesperson for Truth & Ethics International when discussing the United States police, the newest entrant on the Global Corruption Index.
The force has been deemed ‘unbelievably corrupt’ on the 2015 corruption index which is just one step lower than ‘shockingly corrupt’ and are the first non-country to appear in the ranking.
Their levels of corruption and malfeasance are staggering including falsifying evidence, murder, intimidation, cover ups, abductions, racial profiling, poor data recording, total lack of transparency, unprecedented levels of dishonesty, zero accountability and a complete disregard for law and order which is why they exist in the first place.
The force was said to be more corrupt than Syria and Libya but less corrupt than North Korea.
Helmut Feldshut, Index President, said the index is usually reserved for countries only but they made a special consideration for the US police because they behave like a rogue state within a state and are a law unto themselves.
Feldshut said: “They’re the only police force that make you feel less safe after you’ve called them.
“In fact, in a recent survey 80% of respondents said they would rather take their chances when confronted with a deranged serial killer than call the police with the other 20% saying they couldn’t tell the difference.
In light of the corruption the police vowed to clean up there act with a raft of measures including not shooting unarmed people, administering first aid after shooting unarmed people and trying not to lie about shooting unarmed people.
The police said it would take time to implement these changes as many officers are knuckle-dragging, aggressive Neanderthals who are barely house trained.
